This is an attest to the many years spent assisting with the design working at UNSW engineering workshop. Both designing for the students from the ground up, or making changes after consulting with researchers manufacture of the part possible.

Conventional machining with the engine lathe and knee mill is by far the most important in any engineering environment. Whether it be preparation for the CNC machine, one off jobs, repair, recentering, finish operations. Manual machines are the most versatile with their many additions add on and attachments. 

Almost any part directly or indirectly is the product of a manual machine.
